Turboant X7 Max E-Scooter Review: A Compact Heavy Lifter
As a pilot of small aircraft, finding gear that fits the mission is crucial. I just bought the Turboant X7 Max E-scooter on a Black Friday sale, and I am hoping that it will be game-changer in upcoming travel to explore new cities. I have used the pay-per-minute scooters in several cities now, and while it's a great option, finding one where and when you need it can be tough, and the price of using one adds up quickly, especially when there are two - or more of you.
Ease of Assembly
One impressive feature of the X7 Max is how user-friendly it is right out of the box. Assembly was a breeze, taking no more than 10 minutes. I attached the brake lever, screwed on the grips, adjusted the lever to my preference, aired up the tires, and plugged it in for its first charge. Everything you need to get started is included, and the instructions are clear and straightforward. For someone who values efficiency, this was a huge plus.
Accurate Weight Specification
When it comes to travel gear, weight is a critical factor. The Turboant X7 Max claims a weight of 34.2 pounds, and true to their word, it hits the scales exactly. This accuracy is appreciated, especially when considering aircraft weight limits and the ease of transporting the scooter.
Performance and Features
The scooter's performance is commendable. It boasts a range of 30 miles on a single charge and a top speed of 20 mph, which is more than sufficient for exploring local surroundings or running quick errands. I will be testing the actual range, given that I am at the maximum weight for the scooter. The 10-inch pneumatic tires provide a smooth and comfortable ride, even on less-than-ideal surfaces.
What's particularly striking is the balance it strikes between power and portability. The folding mechanism is intuitive, making it hassle-free to stow away in tight spaces, including small aircraft compartments. In the picture on the left you can see it folded up and in the back of the 210. The battery is still attached, but could be removed and put further forward for balance, but the 210 likes weight in the back, especially when flying with two people - the way we intend to use the scooter.
Initial Verdict
The Turboant X7 Max stands out as a top choice for anyone looking for a reliable, portable, and enjoyable mode of transport. It's perfect for pilots, travelers, or anyone who needs a compact yet capable scooter.
